"The Tradition" is a performance piece that fuses the disciplines of theater, dance, soundscape, and film/documentary to explore the aftermath of systematic oppression.
Oppression has been a systematic endeavour carried out through generational lineages. It has been inflicted, recreated, normalized, and internalized, throughout the curve of time, throughout my curve of time. "The Tradition" will bring into evidence the emotional and psychological consequences of this internalized oppression.
"The Tradition" deconstructs and juxtaposes personal and historical facts, in order to address the individual and collective implications of oppressive social and political systems and their roots. It addresses how the oppressive practices of my hometown have affected me as a cis-gender homosexual male, and relates this practices with the current cultural affairs of other European countries.
"The Tradition" will interpolate film/documentary excerpts recorded in Elvas. This community serves as the empirical example of how history and its adjacent wounds are transmitted and remembered.

Bath Mindfulness Trail is a week-long event in January aimed to provide a day for people to spend alone with themselves, their thoughts and feelings, and activate their senses through simple mindfulness exercises.
To take part people will need to register for a free ticket, receive an online map, pick a trail and bring along their smartphones with access to data and a set of headphones. There will be 3 trails available altogether with 5 stopping points for each trail. At each point there will be a QR code that will lead to a link for the audio guided mindfulness exercise dedicated to a specific sense. In addition trail takers will have an opportunity to enjoy a specially designed soundscape to accompany the walk.
There is no limit of age and abilities, and no previous experience in mindfulness is needed. The trail takers can choose to take one or all three of the trails one or more times. Once registered, the participants will have access to the map of locations throughout the week.

Struggling to cope with the fast pace of climate change, two mammals open a dialogue in hopes to save the world.
There is unequivocal scientific evidence that the problem is real - climate change is not a hoax. And given the speed at which it is expanding, the metaphorical idiom ‘the elephant in the room’ seems to lose accuracy when addressing this issue. Perhaps using the biggest animal that ever lived on the planet will make more sense, becoming then The Whale in the Room.
Trying to reach harmony in what could be a last song, the two performers enter a colossal mayhem that takes place above as well as underwater.

While the Others Go Wild is a compilation of several attempts to achieve something together, something greater. The choreographer’s as well as the performers’ perspectives on the term collaboration are turned into isolated ideas which are then, under Cidade’s directions, orchestrated by the performers themselves.
