project 'Camilo Matado' in collaboration with Nicolas San Martin

Multimedia installation in resonance with the death of Camilo Catrillanca on November 14th 2018, in the middle of Wallmapu (mapuche territory dominated by the Chilean state) the Mapuche Camilo was killed by the Chilean police.

Camilo Catrillanca was 24 years old and he was the grandson of the Mapuche longko in the Temucuicui community, ancestral authority for the mapuche people. Camilo was part of the people’s resistance.

Multimedia installation, as I arrived to Europe in 2017 and realized what was going on here.

If we consider the Mediterranean Sea as a huge black box where instead of situate a cat we situate thousands of refugees per day, we coincide with the quantum mecanics' theory proposed by Schordinger, in this case thousands of people are dead and alive at the same time, the possibilities to survive are
equal to the possibilities of die trying. Not the Cat and not the Refugees decided to be part of this experiment. It does not matter how many cats die if you can prove your power theories right?
